The British Coatings Federation welcomed the Brexit agreement reached between the UK and the EU, giving the industry some clarity on the future trading relationship going forward.   Once the agreement is ratified by the UK Parliament, the UK and the EU will enter into a 21-month transition period on March 29, 2019, which secures frictionless, tariff-free trade with the EU, regulatory consistency with the EU, and access to skilled people.     The UK is a net exporter of paints and coatings, with ...
